About The Event
What would it look like to change the landscape of death and dying in Kentucky? Let's find out. Via conversation and action, integrating old ways, and new, as cohorts and as friends, let's explore creating a community where individuals and families feel supported and connected when Death enters their lives. Whether you are a health care, legal, or death care practitioner, grieving a loss, learning how to help a friend or family member, in the regulatory sphere, thinking about your own death, or just interested in what's possible, your voice has value. Please join us.
The goals: - Educate Kentuckians on their rights around death and dying - Enlighten Kentuckians with knowledge of complementary and alternative end of life and death practices - Empower Kentuckians with the necessary resources to enact their end of life and death decisions
A light breakfast will be served. Facilitated by Jud Hendrix, executive director, Interfaith Paths to Peace. Co-hosted by Paula Schoenhoff, and Justin Magnuson, University of Louisville Trager Institute, and co-founder of Before I Die, Louisville
Please invite interested others. All are welcome!
